That is not an answer to my question: If, according to you, God "elected" Jesus and "God does not elect individuals" then what was Jesus? (According to your logic, Jesus was not an individual)Jesus was the Son of God.

Sorry you saw truth that way. But that wasn't my intent.Romans 11:25-27, " I want you to understand this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not claim to be wiser than you are: a hardening has come upon part of Israel until the full number of the gentiles has come in. And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,
“Out of Zion will come the Deliverer;
he will banish ungodliness from Jacob.”
“And this is my covenant with them,
when I take away their sins.”
So much for your antiSemitism.
Jesus was born of God, not like us who are born of Adam. Jesus was chosen to be the savior of the world before the foundation of the world. That is not an answer to my question: If, according to you, God "elected" Jesus and "God does not elect individuals" then what was Jesus? Confession, Repentance, Baptism are things that happen after salvation, not before.Yes salvation requires faith and God's grace but there are a few more things required of us.
1. Belief and faith
2. Confession of your belief as did the Ethiopian eunuch and consistent with Romans 10:9
3. Repentance as was told the Jews on the day of Pentecost per Acts 2:38
4. Baptism for the remission of sins also per Acts 2:38
Right. God does not prefer one person over another like Calvinist want us to believe. Corporately he provides salvation for the whole world, not for some certain individuals. So that whosoever that calls on his name will be saved, Romans 10:13.Perhaps if you didn't rely on the KJV (17th century Englyshe) you might make more sense.
Acts 10:34...
"Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons" KJV
"Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism" NIV
"Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality," NRSVue
God is not a corporation. The meaning is clear in other translations: God does not show fanoritism..
They are saying that I am his because I believe. What are they saying to you?
Ephesians 1:3-5, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, just as he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him in love. He destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will"There is no scripture in the Bible that says God predestinates people to heaven or to hell. If there is show it to me.
You wrote "Everything that God does he does corporately. Not individually. This is why he is no respecter of persons" and used this verse as proof? "Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality" ". Are you okay? No, its biblical theology, Acts 10:34.
There is nothing in Ephesians 1:3-5 about anyone being predestinated to heaven or to hell.Ephesians 1:3-5, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, just as he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him in love. He destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will"
Don't you own a Bible? If you do own one, don't you read it?
God does not chose individuals to be saved. You wrote "Everything that God does he does corporately. Not individually. This is why he is no respecter of persons" and used this verse as proof? "Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality" ". Are you okay?
Gods written word has proven you wrong multiple times.God does not chose individuals to be saved.
Simply your incorrect opinion. I believe Scripture, not you. (And the word is "predestined", not "predestinated").There is nothing in Ephesians 1:3-5 about anyone being predestinated to heaven or to hell.
The "US" is all of humanity, John 3:16, God so loved the world (All of humanity)
Predestinated to be children of Jesus Christ.
Nothing about being predestinated to heaven or to hell.
Read post 973, above.God does not chose individuals to be saved.
Who are you to judge God??? God acts as He chooses (even if you don't like it).If God chose some to be saved and some to be lost that would make him unjust. Calvinism is self-defeating. If you believe Calvinist doctrine, then you must believe that God is an unjust tyrant that delights in sending people to hell. Calvinism is wrong view of the nature and character of God. Worse yet, they believe that Jesus did not atone for the sins of the whole world, which makes him a failure. Jesus was victorious over all things and now sits in heaven as the "King of Kings and the Lord of Lords" Revelation 19:16.
There is such a thing as saving faith, Calvinist do not have it.
You are correct, but many on this site believe that those who are under the Reformed doctrine are serving a monster, an unloving God.Who are you to judge God??? God acts as He chooses (even if you don't like it).
Writing "If you believe Calvinist doctrine, then you must believe that God is an unjust tyrant that delights in sending people to hell" is sheer nonsense. John Calvin never called God "an unjust tyrant".
God's saving love is everywhere.Gods saving love is in Christ
Maybe in your mind it is everywhere but in The Bible It's in Christ in The BibleGod's saving love is everywhere.
In the bible, God's loving grace is upon all men.Maybe in your mind it is everywhere but in The Bible It's in Christ in The Bible
