God the Father - Person/Alive/Living in Heaven
Jesus Christ - Person/Alive/Sitting at the Right Hand of God the Father
Holy Spirit - Person/Alive/Dwelling inside Believers

A Person has a will, mind and emotions.
Any Questions - Blessings.

I have a question.

Person's or spirit's?.

Persons/alive to me means a Human. Spirits/alive could relate to God.

Is God a person or a spirit or both?

Good question kiwidan. God the Father is a spirit with a personality. He is a person because he also obtains the characteristics of a person; will, mind and emotions. We're not just talking about some random person with a random will, mind and emotions, no. We are talking about God the Father, the creator of all things that is not dead. He's alive and living in heaven. However, the only way to God the Father is through Jesus Christ alone. Keep in mind though that all three possess different roles. Blessings.

I have another question.

How does it all work?. If God is in heaven he must send the holy spirit to talk to us. So why do people say God is within us. Or is only the holy spirit in us. What is the holy spirit?. Who is the holy spirit?. Is it God the Father who is also God the holy spirit?, Or is the holy spirit like a messenger spirit?

When you accept Jesus into thy heart, God the Father sends his Holy Spirit to you as a gift. The Holy Spirit dwells inside the believer for the rest of their life. They say God is within us because the Holy Spirit is the characteristics of God the Father. If God the Father sent himself to dwell in us, his glory would literally crush us. So he sends a part of himself, called the Holy Spirit. God the Father and the Holy Spirit are connected to each other as in characteristics. Galatians 5:22-23 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Keep in mind though that these fruits are from a heavenly order and not of worldly order.
The Holy Spirit is the characteristics of God the Father, the Holy Spirit is a gift from God the Father sent to the believer upon salvation. The Holy Spirit also abides in the believer until they die. The Holy Trinity is God the Father, God the Holy Spirit, and God the Son. The Holy Spirit does not speak of himself, but only through Jesus Christ our intercessor. John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Yes. Provide some scripture that says that the Holy Spirit is an individual. And if it is an individual does he or it take little parts of itself and places these little pieces in all these different Christians? Or does he just multiply into many many different little Holy Spirits therefore making him not an single person anymore?:)

God is a spirit, his son is a spirit, and the holy spirit is a spirit.

They are not persons.
They are concepts.
They are Reality, Truth, and Thoughts.

TRINITY:

Our (1) Lord is Truth, in whose (2) Spirit of mind wemust commit our lives, in order to face (3) Father Nature, the AlmightyReality, within which we all exist.

I have another question.

God is all there is,ie; Reality itself... the whole external existence beyond our mind is the almighty God to which all life must bow:

...Truth inside ourhead, is the Holy Spirit, the imageof God, almighty Reality, and is present inside our mind when our thinkingcorrectly images the TRUTH, or the picture of Reality inside our mind.

Does the holy spirit get divided equally among christians or does it grow more and more with faith

I don't see the Holy Spirit growing bigger, our faith grows bigger as we grow, in the Spirit. The more we trust God, listening for the Holy Spirit, trusting Him to teach us, renewing our minds by the Word of God, our faith grows.

The more our faith grows the more we allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives. We can see this process in creation.

Scripture is not needed, it's common sense. God the Father is a spirit with person traits; will, mind and emotions. God the Father is the creator of all things and is alive in heaven. To understand what I'm talking about, you would have to accept Jesus into your heart first to know who God the Father is. Do you think God the Father is alive in heaven?

God is a spirit, his son is a spirit, and the holy spirit is a spirit.

You're wrong and you're right. God is a spirit with person traits, his son walked this earth in flesh with the Holy Spirit inside of him. His son is also spirit because his Father is spirit. Saying God the Father doesn't have person traits such as will, mind and emotion is saying that he is dead in heaven. Do you think God the Father is alive in heaven? Is your 'concept' alive in your heart?

Please reread my post and then try to answer my questions again...you avoided the questions by talking about something that i did not ask. And you said common sense??lol Please provide scripture...i really don't trust your "common sense"...no offense.:)

Saying the Holy Spirit isn't a person with will, mind and emotions is saying that God the Father and Jesus are dead. What's it mean to you when I say the word alive and that God the Father and Jesus are alive in heaven right now? You will not understand scripture about this until you answer this question.

Man lives & dies with 'living the truth that the Holy Spirit has GIVEN him'. (no non sincere intension meant!)

See Rom. 2

[13] (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

[14] For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

[15] Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another.

--Elijah

Truth can be modeled in everyone's head because it is the image of what is Real.

Is the truth also modeled in your heart/body/soul/spirit too, as being alive.

I have another question

Does the holy spirit get divided equally among christians or does it grow more and more with faith, because i see a wide range of different attitudes from dedicated born again blessed with the holy spirit christians.

The Holy Spirit comes to you as a gift when you accept Jesus into your heart. Yes, we do grow more in faith because the Holy Spirit is a teacher and a guide, and also alive in the believer.

You started this topic and you are not even able to discuss this in a logical manner. Why is that? You provide no scripture and you make assumptions that i never intended. Why is that? You said " What's it mean to you when I say the word alive and that God the Father and Jesus are alive in heaven right now?" and i ask what are you talking about?? The word alive means....well alive. Ofcourse the Father and Son are alive in the 3rd heaven right now as we speak and its great isn't it?

Calm down man, what I'm saying is that the Holy Spirit is a person, because he is alive. Since he's alive, do you think he has a will, mind and emotions just like a person does?

Do you normally tell calm people to calm down?lol You say the Holy Spirit is a person. Do you not understand that a person is singular?? That means one person. Are we on the same page? Okay then this one person that you call the Holy Spirit is also living in millions of people throughout the world at the same time...how is that possible and still maintain individuality? The point that i am trying to make to you is that the doctrine of the trinity is beyond our full comprehension therefore you might me wrong. I would rather look at the Godhead in a binatarian veiw with God the Son and God the Father and the Holy Spirit is the piece of them that they give to us...their children....it is not really a person.:)

Singular yes, as in three different roles for each person in the trinity; three different persons with three different roles to play, but with one God in control. What are the roles of the three persons Grappler? Yes, the Holy Spirit lives and dwells in any person that accepts Christ into their hearts, yes all around the world because of God the Father's power. The Holy Spirit is in connection to God the Father, don't forget! God the Father is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. I am not wrong. You're also forgetting God the Holy Spirit. Blessings.

You really haven't proven anything. No scripture. I prefer to view the Holy Spirit as that part of God the Father and God the Son that they give to their children...sort of like a force or power. As far as a person? i am not so sure...is the Holy Spirit in heaven hanging out with the Son and the Father also?? No...it is the part of Jesus that we have and always will have within us...that is why nothing can seperate us from Jesus.:)

The Holy Spirit is a person because he possess's a will, mind and emotion because he is a part of God the Father. If the Holy Spirit that lives inside of us does not have will to move, emotions to be happy or sad or a mind to think, then the Holy Spirit is dead in us. The Holy Spirit is a part of God the Father and represents the characteristics of God the Father. Where God the Father goes, the Holy Spirit goes. Yes Grappler you are correct, we do have a part of Jesus in us, that part is the Holy Spirit that dwelled inside of Jesus when he walked the earth.

If the HS was not a person then He would be neuter, wouldn't He?
