God testified in the old and confirmed the same in the new, the wicked use their feet to run to evil, to make haste to shed blood.

No faithfulness in their mouth, their throat an open grave, they flatter with their tongue. There is no fear of God before their eyes.

Also a deceived heart turns them aside, so they cannot deliver their soul, nor say, is there not a lie in their right hand ?

Psalm 5:9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

Proverbs 1:16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.

Isaiah 44:20 He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

Isaiah 59:7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.

Romans 3:13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
17 And the way of peace have they not known:
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Can your feet commit sin without your mind's knowledge of it?
No.
All parts of your body are controlled by your mind. Minus of course the heart and reflex actions like sneezing or blinking.

Christ did not waste His time to show how we are to control our eyes, unlike Israel, who used them to do evil.

To control our hand, ( no lie to be in it through a deceived heart.)

Not to have our feet to be swift to shed blood and to go and do more evil.

Because all the words of scripture are profitable for instruction in righteousness.

Luke 7:35 But wisdom is justified of all her children.

2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
What controls the eyes?
The mind of the looker.
You are erroneously granting autonomy to organs of the body.

Can your feet commit sin without your mind's knowledge of it?
No.
All parts of your body are controlled by your mind. Minus of course the heart and reflex actions like sneezing or blinking.
The feet are swift to shed blood, is the testimony on the world so ALL the world is under sin/guilty BEFORE GOD.

If your foot offends you cut it off.( for all who are guilty of being under sin, so they no longer have offending feet swift to shed blood.)

Romans 3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

Romans 3:15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:

Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Mark 9:45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

Jesus then can preach how if our feet offend us ( ALL feet that it was testified for THE WHOLE WORLD, that are swift to shed blood.)

The reason Jesus can testify these things, is told, as we are justified freely through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, faith in His blood, declaring His righteousness for the remission of past sins, through the forbearance of God.

Now we pay attention, looking for the feet of Jesus ( that are the ONLY feet, not SWIFT TO SHED BLOOD, as He is the ONLY ONE, who instead, SHED HIS BLOOD FOR US. Matthew 26:28.)

Here is the exchange of our feet. We know that day that it was the Lord who spoke, ( Jesus Christ) then we know His name, how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of Him that brings good tidings ( THE GOSPEL) that publishes peace, that brings good tidings of good, that publishes salvation, that says to Zion, your God reigns. ( Romans 10:15 confirms how Jesus Christ was sent.)

Zechariah 14:4 tells how His feet stood that day upon the mount of Olives. ( John 8:1.)

The disciples of Christ believe His word, the Jews never did, they were not His sheep.

Christ taught of our foot offends, to cast it from us. ( that is figuratively and it is in faith.) so that we do not have two feet to be cast into hell.

It is told how all of that is achieved, for our feet to be shod ( tied together) with the Gospel of peace.,( believing in the beautiful feet of Him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace, that brings good tidings of good, that publishes salvation.) that is taking the shied of faith that Christ has given to us to believe in, which quenches all the fiery darts of the wicked, and taking the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Isaiah 52:6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.
7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Ephesians 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

What controls the eyes?
The mind of the looker.
You are erroneously granting autonomy to organs of the body.
If the eyes are blind, they can see nothing, ( no faith) if they are seeing, they see faith.

To you it may be false, all I am preaching, but you can only state it is, without being able to actually deny anything.

Also as testified, when the eye does not see, nor the ear hear, it then has not entered into the heart. ( showing the eye is what prevents the heart from believing.)

Isaiah 64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Jesus speaks of the prophecy in Isaiah, and reveals how the blinding of the eyes, ( instead of eyes that see, which lets it then enter into the heart.) hardens the heart. Because they should not see with their eyes, then they cannot understand with their heart.

John 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

The Pharisees would not like how Jesus did things.

But as told, this is why Jesus spoke to them in parables, because they seeing, see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. ( eye has not seen, ear not heard, so that it cannot enter into the heart.)

But blessed are the eyes of the disciples ( sheep) of Christ, for they see, and their ears, for they hear. ( they heard what Jesus testified, about if our right eye offends you, to cast it off, for it is better to enter into life, that way, than having two eyes to be cast into hell, which of course means fearing and believing in Christ the Lord God, so our body is not cast into hell, along with our soul, and not fearing men and what they can do to our body only, instead. )

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

Now for anyone on the forum, here is the last bit of advice for us from Jesus Christ, regarding our eyes, ( if your right eye offends you, cast it away/cast away the darkness of doubt/lie, of not seeing in light/truth, belief.) God counsels us to buy gold of Him tried in the fire, to be rich through the poverty of Jesus Christ, rich in faith, as the poor in Spirit are ( 2 Corinthians 8:9. James 2:5.) which is God opening our eyes and turning us then from darkness to light, from satan unto God, to receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance being sanctified by faith that is in Christ. ( Jesus Christ is faith, it is the faith of Christ.)

Romans 11:10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.

Romans 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Revelation 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

That’s exactly what I mean. You say scripture promises that you are exactly like Jesus even if no one, including Jesus, sees the resemblance.

But what is worse is that being assured that you already ARE like Jesus no matter how you actually treat others, there’s no reason to pursue God to make you like Jesus. You’re perfect today in your view. It’s a legal “perfection” assumed by parcing our isolated verses without any comparison to reality.

Jesus can only believe His own words, and they are to be made perfect in one, and that the same love the Father has for the Son, ( of everlasting life) is how the Father loves us too. ( eternal life, dwelling in us.)

That is the hope ( in hope of eternal life.) and it is through belief of purifying ourselves even as He is pure, ( holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience/pure faith, in a pure heart. 1 Timothy 1:5.)

Christ was manifested to take away our sins, in Him is no sin, if we abide in Him ( where there is no sin) we sin not, if we sin it is because we did not see or know Him ( if we abide in Him, we abide where there is no sin, in Him) and he that does righteousness has to be righteous even as Christ is righteous. ( they abide in Him where there is no sin, they do no sin when abiding in Him, and are righteous the same as He is righteous or are not abiding in Him at all.)

Christ cannot deny HIs testimonies, He remains faithful as testified, only people can try to ( the predicted spirit of antichrist. 2 Timothy 2:13.) but they can deny nothing, as it is seen they are unable to confess anything that Christ has taught us. ( how we are made perfect in One, which is abiding in Him and He that is joined to the Lord is that one Spirit, as the first man is of the earth, the second man, is the Lord from Heaven, and we have to be the new Spirit man.)

The new man, ( made perfect in ONE/ he that is joined to the Lord is ONE Spirit.) is putting off the old man, ( the first man is earthly of the earth, the second man is the Lord from Heaven.) which is corrupt according to deceitful lusts, we have to be renewed in the spirit of our mind, which after God is CREATED, in righteousness and, TRUE HOLINESS. To sin not, which is to not give place to the devil. ( the deceiver.)

We do not lie seeing we pout off the old man with his deeds. ( of sin and deceit and lying of the devil.) We put on the new man which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that CREATED him. ( Where Christ is all and in all/and he who abides in Christ where there is no sin, sins not/does not commit sin, as he that does righteousness, is righteous, even as He is righteous.)

That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.

Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

1 Corinthians 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

1 Timothy 3:9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.

Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

The spirit of antichrist wont acknowledge any of these testimonies of Jesus Christ, they can only mock them instead, as told about them. ( because instead of simply walking after Christ, in righteousness, they instead walk after their own ungodly lusts/unrighteousness.)

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Jude 1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

"Can your feet commit sin without your mind's knowledge of it?
No."

Yes the world did what it did in ignorance, their mind having NO KNOWLEDGE OF IT. ( no mind of faith. Philippians 2:5. Corrupt and reprobate concerning the faith 2 Timothy 3:8.)

All they did was through ignorance, as testified, they therefore had to repent and be converted for their sins to be blotted out.

The times of all of that ignorance God winked at, ( until the murder of, death of and rising/resurrection of Christ.) and now commanded all men to repent, as a day was appointed in which Christ judges the world ( ordained of God) which gives assurance to all men that God raised Christ from the dead. ( ignorance is when done in unbelief.)

Now we cant walk as those in the vanity of their mind, which is having their understanding darkened, and being past feeling ( they cannot be corrected/taught.) they are alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart, ( eye sees, and it then enters into the heart.) they give themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Acts 3:17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

1 Timothy 1:13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

Ephesians 4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Statements ( word and tongue) mean nothing, love is in deed and in truth, as Christ we know did for us to lay His life down for us, sinners don't do that, they hurt other peoples lives instead of doing the greater love that Jesus did for us to be His followers sincerely.

Also it is commandment by Christ, to love one another as He loved us. ( laying His life down for us, is how He loved us and how we perceive the love of God as testified.

Those who do not love Jesus, don't do what Jesus did ( show they have no belief in Him) and they do not do what he commanded. ( to love others as He loved us/the greater love.)

John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
(1 John 3:10-12) . . .The children of God and the children of the Devil are evident by this fact: Whoever does not practice righteousness does not originate with God, nor does the one who does not love his brother. 11 For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another; 12 not like Cain, who originated with the wicked one and slaughtered his brother. And for what reason did he slaughter him? Because his own works were wicked, but those of his brother were righteous.

All demonstrate that they have no love in them now, being children of the devil. Also love waxes cold because of hearing the false prophet teachers right now. ( proving, only those who endure in love of Christ now, till the end shall be saved, nobody else can be.)

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

1 John 3: 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Excellent gordon777 nice accurate post sir. Those false prophets have been quite successful, how many faiths are there today that claim to be Christian? Heck I cannot keep up. Dont know the accuracy of this but just Googled it and found: world Christianity consists of 6 major ecclesiastico-cultural blocs, divided into 300 major ecclesiastical traditions, composed of over 33,000 distinct denominations in 238 countries

If we read the success, we read that the deceiving is done, by also them being deceived.

2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Strong delusion sent, chosen out, to believe in a lie..

Isaiah 66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

2 Thessalonians 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Can sinning be overcome in this life with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Some Preachers and even theologian do not believe that all sinning can be overcome in this life either with or without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Only certain sins can be overcome, thus they leave a 'gap' where sin can continue in our lives.

But people take this to mean that they can keep sinning as there is nothing they can do, or that these 'sins' are not really "hard sins" or "iniquity", but just part of being in a sinful world. Is that correct according to scripture?

Here are some texts on how we choose to heed the desires of our flesh, and for whatever reason, set aside the conviction of the Holy Spirit. "The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak" Mark 14:38.

James 1:14-15 "But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death."

Galatians 5:17 "For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish."
The one thing I would like to add to this is that although salvation is not through works but through faith alone, there are works which prove that someone is saved (Ephesians 2:10). As Christians, we should focus on the works God has prepared for us in advance which prove that we are saved. Keeping our focus should help us overcome sin.

Probably the only churches that don’t have divisions like that are the cults. They require everyone to believe what the leader says or you’re out.

Now if only this would be applied to the actual choices Gordon makes.

As Christians, we should focus on the works God has prepared for us in advance which prove that we are saved. Keeping our focus should help us overcome sin.
I agree. If a person sets out to obey the Holy Spirit, not only will sin be avoided but actual works pleasing to God can be added to our treasure.

Why have you decided to grant independence to the members of your vessel?
My eyes look at what my mind aims them at.
Me feet run after what my mind decides to chase.
Neither my eyes nor my feet can do anything on their own.

Through a deceived heart, we cant say is there a lie in our right hand.

Isaiah 44:20 He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

The devil is who deceives all on earth right now that way. ( through a hardened heart of sin.)

John 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

Hebrews 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

That is why the new covenant is hearing the testimony of Christ, ( if right eye offends, right hand, cast them off.) and the foot also offends, ( all it is testified, had feet swift to shed blood) and the feet of Christ taught these righteous testimonies to believe in, having the testified foretold beautiful feet upon the mountains, preaching tidings of good/peace and salvation, His feet standing on the Mount of Olives. ( belief in Christ, not denying it, gives the new heart and new Spirit, and takes the stony heart away, and gives a heart of flesh.)

Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Otherwise we have as told, the lie in our fright hand, deceived by the devil/beast, our heart yet hardened through the deceitfulness of that sin, ( of unbelief in Jesus Christ.) and we have the mark of the beast ( lie) upon our foreheads or in our hands. ( right hand.)

Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Scripture speaks better than people. ( the Word Christ has spoken, the same Word is what judges us on the last day/ DO NOT REJECT THE WORDS.)

John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

They in the flesh ( trying to obey without the Spirit) CANNOT PLEASE GOD. But if we are in the Spirit, ( that the Spirit of God dwells in us) the body is dead because of sin, and the Spirit is life BECAUSE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. ( in the heart man BELIEVES UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Believing in the testimony of Christ, who pleased not Himself, as testified: the reproaches of them that reproached Him, fell on Christ.

The world by wisdom ( men's words and not the testimony/witness of Jesus Christ/the Living Word) did not know God, it PLEASED GOD, by the FOOLISHNESS OF PREACHING, to SAVE THEM WHICH BELIEVE. ( we PREACH CHRIST CRUCIFIED.)

BY FAITH, Enoch had this testimony: THAT HE PLEASED GOD.

BBUT WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM: for HE THAT COMES TO GOD MUST BELIEVE that HE IS, and that he is A REWARDER OF THEM THAT DILLIGENTLY SEEK HIM.

Romans 15:1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

1 Corinthians 1:1 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Now anyone reading/seeing the thread, can see if people try to live by Gods words, or live by their own word instead.

People cannot believe in the words of Christ when they have them in front of them, even though they correct lies, right away.

1 John 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
True, all Christians practice righteousness, but make no mistake, many of the world do as well. Fruits identify gordon777 and not everyone who does righteousness is born of him sir, Jesus warns us to be on the look for false prophets. They mask their deception well. Remember those Jesus rejected who did many powerful works in his name? Mat 7:21-23
