LOL! Yet people who claim that the flood never happened always deny the mountaintop marine fossil evidence. Now you want to explain it. That's good.
Marine fossils are on mountain tops because of techtonic plate movement that pushes mountain ranges upwards at one part of the oceanic ridge while it pulls ocean floor below at the other. Those "fossils", usually shells, WERE at the bottom of the ocean at one time. No mystery here.
Along with this, there are places above sea level that had been raised up to that level [due to this same force acting below our feet] and they include the ancient remanent of coral reefs.
