Like @Jethro said, that’s a good reason to continue to believe and therefore continue to follow Him.
Let’s be those who encourage each other to continue to believe, follow and obey the teaching and commandments of our Lord Jesus Christ.
That means loving people and forgiving as well.
Why would anyone want to teach otherwise?

Amen. They enter the door which is Jesus Christ.
Now that they have entered the door, they are on the difficult way that leads to life, whereby few find it.
Few end up remaining on the way the way that leads to life because can be difficult.
Some become lost, because they stop listening to His voice.

I disagree with much of what you say—— and hundreds of others in various other Forums —- but I have NEVER questioned the HONESTY or SINCERITY of ANY of those who interpret God’s Word differently than I do.

“ Continuing” ANYthing is not the Condition to obtain this Promise from God Himself— The Condition is to “ Come to God through His Son, Jesus”

There are many different interpretations for those and other Parables ....
I recommend that those New to the Faith get acquainted with actual events that only the most “ stiff-necked” would try to argue with ——- The Sinful Tax Collector Who Jesus declared was “ Justified” ( made FIT for Heaven) Simply because he saw his wretchedness and cried out, “ Lord, have Mercy on me, a sinner!”
Another unarguable True Event That shows how simple it is to get Saved Forever Simply because you Believe Jesus was who He said He was......the Sinful Woman Who kneeled at Jesus feet and used her hair to wipe the tears from His feet ......Jesus told her , “ Your Faith has SAVED you, go in Peace”.......Notice that there were NO conditions put on this . No “ hurry up and get Baptized before my offer expires” ......No “Oops, I forgot to mention that you will have to make sure that you Repent Of all of your Sins before you die”.....No, “ Wait just a minute! I can’t Save you just because you “ Believe” in me—- them darned Demons “ Believe and Tremble”—- come back later, give me some time to figure out something that requires Human Merit, you know .....some way you can EARN the FREE gift I really wanted to GIVE you because I am full of Love and Mercy and GRACE. Psst......here’s a Secret I want to share with you, my Child.......I do it for “ My Own Sake.” It gives ME Pleasure to give YOU Pleasure. Don’t Tell Anybody......”
