This is a general statement to all, especially me, —
You should know that studying to show yourself approved, rightly dividing the word of truth involves more that lifting one verse out of context and creating a doctrine around the one verse. Also redefining biblical words and terms to suit your pet doctrine is just another way of twisting the scriptures.
This is not judging anyone but simply stating a principle found in the scriptures.

It almost seems like your asking me to prove OSAS is true.

Fortunately we have the scriptures to go by.
His people who wander away and become lost must repent, and return Him, in order to be “found”.
The good news is we can be assured He still loves us and welcomes back, longing for us to return to Him.
Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:6-7
Do you know what the doctrine of OSAS teaches about this ?
It teaches that His sheep who become lost, were never saved.

i am not asking you to prove anything -- you literally run those down who hold to osas .false doctrine false teaching it never ends. then you want to promote unity .btw that was not a question it was a statement. you chose to address the issues you want. osas is a controversial doctrine many oppose .
i have mentioned to you the pentecostal doctrine baptism of the spirit evidence of speaking in tongues . i also have used the Church of Christ you wont go there . personally i don't have a issue with church of Christ really don't know a lot about them only what i have heard some preached on t.v many oppose women preachers i say God will sort all that out . there works will be judged by the fire . if its not of God that work will not pass through the fire . if it is of God it will stand the fiery test .

Lot obeyed the Lord and fled.
He lingered not wanting to go live in the mountain wilderness.
He wanted to live in the city where he was accustomed to living.

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:24
So if a brother murders another brother because he hates him, is he still saved?
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15

Its not about me being right or wrong, it’s about leading people to honestly study the scriptures and what the scriptures teach.
All I ask is the person look at and study the scriptures for themselves, and not rely on the teachings of man, such as Calvinism...

if you look at the story, the men of Sodom wanted to rape the angels, and Lot protects them.
look at their reply in verse 9
9 “Get out of our way,” they replied. “This fellow came here as a foreigner, and now he wants to play the judge! We’ll treat you worse than them.” They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door.
of course Lot hesitated in verse 16. He feared for himself and his family.
What is your understanding of these passages and Im not really sure how you use this story to support OSAS
see there is the first mistake i never said i supported osas .i have stated that many times i used it to show how lot sat at the gates of sodom gomorah probably mayor so to speak.. Lot was very much a part of the city while i doubt he practied the sexula pervison . but he is the leader of his family his wife couldn't leave the place. her heart earned to say . end results .she was turned to a pillar of salt . i have been pretty reserved in my post . not many has been willing to wade in on it.. but to call out other doctrines that are osas as false twisted pet doctrines.. over they years i have heard it all. facts are Jesus never promoted any one single doctrine. i had a man tell me years ago non demon was way to go as that was what jesus was.. jesus is the way truth life.. your tos rules with name calling .it does not promote unity
Jesus taught us His doctrine; The Doctrine of Christ.
He taught it to His disciples personally for 3 1/2 years, then instructed them to teach their disciples.
The New Testament is the doctrine of Christ.
Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 2 John 9
When we ”go beyond”, or transgress His teaching, His doctrine, which is about love; loving God and loving our neighbor, then we are teaching heresy.
Heresy is divisive, and designed to divide us into “sections”, sects, or denominations which is simply put a division that leads to destruction.
But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.
Matthew 12:25
Satan desires for the Church to be divided.
Denominations and the teachings that drive them are the result of teachings that are not of Christ.
Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 1 Corinthians 1:10
And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.
