When was Jesus called Immanuel? And that was talking about the true God, because it was God who did it all through Jesus-Acts 2:22-1Cor 8:5-6- That is how God was with us, not in being, He was still in heaven.

It means that God was with us in Christ. It doesn't matter that Jesus was never called Immanuel, it matters that we are told he was God with us.

If Thomas was Jewish, he knew the messiah has a God and would not call him the God.

Thomas was Jewish, believed Jesus was the Messiah, and yet called him his God.

It may look like in reading Thomas called Jesus God, but he did not.

If a plain reading looks like he called Jesus his God, then the obvious meaning is that he actually did call Jesus his God.

He most likely looked to heaven when he said that.

But now you are reading that idea into the text. He was very clearly directly addressing Jesus, calling him his Lord and his God.

Whether one wants to accept truth-Jesus has a God just like us-Psalm 45:7, John 20:17--God does not have a God.

Of course God doesn't have a God, except when it comes to the NWT were a god has a God. That Jesus called the Father his God does not preclude Jesus from also being God.

God didn't "create" his own wisdom. I'm only suggesting you consider what I'm saying. I learned thing in church that weren't true also.

I will listen to Jesus, will you-John 20:17 Rev 3:12--his real teachers on earth teach what he taught. These do not-2Cor 11:12-15--Either Jesus is in error, or the house divided that will not stand is in error. We all know its not Jesus.

Seriously who teaches you this stuff because it is not scriptural. You need to go back and read Rev 7 as the 144,000 are the generational Jews from every tribe of Jacob and when you read further we also read about all the Gentiles that will also be before the throne of God in the New Jerusalem.

Rev 14:3-144,000--this is the little flock( Luke12:32) promised to sit on thrones ruling as kings and priests by Jesus-Rev 1:6, Rev 20:6--The great crowd no man can number-Rev 7:9) are given this promise-Matt 5:5-Blessed are the meek for they will inherit the earth--since only the little flock and great crowd are getting life everlasting-it has to be the great crowd who inherits the earth. The psalmist knew that fact-Psalm 37:29) and at Prov 2:21-22 assures they remain on earth, Matt 24:22 assures they will be brought through the tribulation and Harmageddon.
The lake of fire= eternal destruction. Its the second death, there is no life in death.
And Jesus told truth--Few will find the road to life. 99% are being mislead.

Do you believe a father and son have the same nature? Yes, Jesus is God’s Son and 1 Cor 8:6 is just one proof of many that he is also deity. Acts 2:22 does not preclude Jesus being God. You might want to look up Phil 2:5-8.

John 1:1-18 shows that the Son preexisted for all eternity and so is deity. This is supported by 1 Cor 8:6 and Col 1:16-17. Thomas recognized this and called Jesus his Lord and his God. All the disciples recognized it and worshiped him as was appropriate. And they weren’t the only ones either.

Then we have Phil 2:5-8 which not only states that Jesus was God in nature, he chose to empty himself and become human for our salvation. In becoming human, he functionally subordinated himself to the Father.
