I was pointing to the Trinity as the Means. With him all things are possible.Yes He does judge the means at the end.

Always was and will be.The Word was WITH God.
I meant his word is true. Words are powerful, but powerless when contrary to the word of our God.No, words can be powerful even if the author isn’t known. Words have power.
We're of the same body with OT believers who kept it by faith.The Bible says they followed or kept the law.
I don't see the spiritual as impractable.I think we’re probably just too different in our thinking. You are rather etheral and I am practical.
I don’t either but you have a tendency to define words so that they become impractical at times. The OT saints didnt follow the spirit (whatever that means) but they followed the law ( which is practical.) That what it says.Always was and will be.

Just to be clear, some OT believers followed by the Spirit of the law, not by the letter. By that I mean they understood the purpose of the law is to show mankinds' unrighteousness. They understood this, because they let the law speak to them about themselves, not about others. When that happens, we want mercy and want it for others.I don’t either but you have a tendency to define words so that they become impractical at times. Who claimed this of themselves?Just to be clear, some OT believers followed by the Spirit of the law, not by the letter.
But that wasn’t the purpose God said when He gave the law. And that’s not the purpose anyway. God didn’t say, “ do not murder” so that we can realize we are murderers. He said it so we don’t murder.By that I mean they understood the purpose of the law is to show mankinds' unrighteousness.
Who reflected these thoughts in the Bible? David wrote,”the law of the Lord is perfect….more to de desired than gold.”They understood this, because they let the law speak to them about themselves, not about others.
It’s better not to need mercy because a man does justly and loves mercy and walks humbly with God.When that happens, we want mercy and want it for others.
all our fathers...did all drink the same spiritual drink...1Cor.10:1,Who claimed this of themselves?
Paul claimed it for them, because we're all saved the same way,
He said it to specifically define it as sin against himself,But that wasn’t the purpose God said when He gave the law. And that’s not the purpose anyway. God didn’t say, “ do not murder” so that we can realize we are murderers. He said it so we don’t murder.
He also said,Who reflected these thoughts in the Bible? David wrote,”the law of the Lord is perfect….more to de desired than gold.”
I wouldn't be doing any of those things without Gods' mercyDorothy Mae

Do the immigrants come under the law of the land same as the foreigners who entered Israel? Do they abandon the gods they served sane as the foreigners who entered Israel?Interestingly enough, Joseph did not build a wall to keep out the foreigners during the famine, instead he provided for them. His kin and his fathers house even found refuge in the land of Egypt. Lest we forget God's command to his people,
One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked. For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward: He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment. Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Shadows of things to come? What do we see in this day and age. Severe droughts, then floods, famine, civil tumult, and the peoples have slowly begun migrating north the world over due to climate change. Migration into Europe and migrations into the United States.
But do the stiffnecked MAGA Christian nationalists exhibit the fruits of the Spirit? Do they show that the Word of God is written on their heart? When they want to build a wall to keep out the foreigner, when they claim the foreigner has no rights under our constitution, and when they continually vex the foreigners coming into the land as being murders and rapists; do they exhibit the qualities of a Joseph?
Once you got the concrete truth, the shadow can be abandoned. It becomes as useless as shadows are.Types and shadows

Again, Paul says they drank, not followed the Spirit. I asked you who in the OT says that they “followed the Spirit” speaking of themselves. Quoting Paul isn’t an OT person saying that of themselves.all our fathers...did all drink the same spiritual drink...1Cor.10:1,
From a manner of speaking but he said that of HIMSELF alone. God himself said why He gave the law and that wasn’t his view.He said it to specifically define it as sin against himself,
I had not known sin, but by the law Rom.7:7
And has what significance?Please remember he's writing to former pagans.
You mean He doesn’t just smash you and everyone else so it’s his mercy we’re even alive?He also said,
that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. Psa.51:4

You covered it pretty well. Types are not the reality we are looking for, but the inward change.Interestingly enough, Joseph did not build a wall to keep out the foreigners during the famine, instead he provided for them. His kin and his fathers house even found refuge in the land of Egypt. Lest we forget God's command to his people,
One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

Who had a need beyond the law of Moses.They were also real people.
Huh?Instead of receiving the spirit of the Law, do you wish to justify yourself before the law?
I don’t possess a plowshare.And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
You are familiar with the words of Jesus, how his gospel was a command to beat your swords into plowshares?
Where is this question coming from? What does this have to do with the discussion?You know, turn the other cheek, forgive one another; Be ye perfect as your Father in heaven, who maketh it rain on the just and the unjust alike?
That’s what’s happening.But in the last days it shall come to pass,
that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains,
and it shall be exalted above the hills;
and people shall flow unto it.
And many nations shall come, and say,
Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
and to the house of the God of Jacob;
and he will teach us of his ways,
and we will walk in his paths:
for the law shall go forth of Zion,
and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
And he shall judge among many people,
and rebuke strong nations afar off;
and they shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruninghooks:
nation shall not lift up a sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war any more.
But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree;
and none shall make them afraid:
for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.
For all people will walk every one in the name of his god,
and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.
So as to your question and do they need to abandon the gods they serve as in the times of the old covenant, I would suggest NO.
Certainly not the muslimsEven as it is, many of the migrants pushing north against the US border claim the name of Christ for themselves as well. What god would you have them worship entering the country? The MAGA Christians Nationalists seem to confuse the Constitution with the covenant laws of Israel, and they would have you worship for a god someone created in their image.

Of a type of Christ in the Old Testament. A type is not a reality.Joseph is one of the best examples of Christ in the OT.
It wouldn't be possible to drink from the Spirit of Christ, unless they were following him.Again, Paul says they drank, not followed the Spirit. I asked you who in the OT says that they “followed the Spirit” speaking of themselves. Quoting Paul isn’t an OT person saying that of themselves.
Paul was using himself as an example of how we all are. We have no conception of what sin is apart from what God determines. Otherwise, people are left to their own morality and how's that working out?From a manner of speaking but he said that of HIMSELF alone.
Yes it was Gods' view,God himself said why He gave the law and that wasn’t his view.
They formerly made up their own morality. Who knows...maybe they also thought abortion was ok.And has what significance?
I can tell you this. His mercy toward those who sinned against him held him on that cross and everyone who calls himself Christian better see the depth of that mercy.You mean He doesn’t just smash you and everyone else so it’s his mercy we’re even alive?
Certainly I meant type. The reality is, Joseph was conformed to his image.Of a type of Christ in the Old Testament. A type is not a reality.
