What is The Baptism that saves us now?

The conscience is only as good as the truth that it’s based on.
You might have a clear conscience and think you are in the right but if that is not based on truth then your conscience will mislead you. Paul is a perfect example of that.
Good pt.
But I'm speaking in the presence of truth.
Another words you are imputed righteousnes to live according to your call...so you can live up to it.

When did the Spirit bear witness with your Spirit? And what did/does that look like to you..Explain your experience?

And How often?

It's and inward knowing.

When I was backsliden it became a conviction that eventually caused me to repent.

The inward knowing that I am a child of God is continual.

James
Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith, without doubting, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Cnkw3
And that is why above...
So are you saying I am double-minded and unstable in all my ways?

Please don't be presumptuous and put words in my mouth that I never stated.
That was your inference.
If you choose to believe that your physical body was born again along with your spirit then that is your choice.
No Scripture teaches this, and therefore is unscriptural.
This scripture states it emphatically..."In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:" (Cos 2:11)
I have asked you to provide scripture that teaches our physical body is born again, and you have not.
You may have missed it, so I added the one from Col 2:11.
You just continue to promote your unscriptural doctrine, to the brothers and sisters in this conmmunity
I guess now you know it is scriptural.
I will add Gal 5:24 too..."And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts."
The old body was killed, buried, and raised with Christ to walk in newness of life.
It is a new creature.
Thanks be to God.

None of the old man can remain, if it is to be reborn of God's seed.

No where does any scripture say that our physical body is born again.

Please provide the scripture, that says your “flesh is born of the Spirit”.

Here is what Jesus taught us — words of Christ in red:

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:6

  • that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Please stop spreading false doctrine in this community.

You and I have the same physical body we were born with, when our mother gave birth to us.

We will receive a new glorified body that shines like the sun, and will never die again, at the resurrection of the dead in Christ.

But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. Luke 20:35-36

Why would we need to crucify our flesh if it was sinless?

This is the work of the Spirit, as we ourselves put to death the deeds of the flesh (our sinful flesh) by the Spirit.

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. Romans 8:12-13

  • if you live according to the flesh you will die

The reason we must daily, put to death, crucify our flesh by the power of the Spirit, is because our flesh contains sin!

John 4:2
Though Jesus Himself baptized not, but His disciples.

My Greek professor said that meant the disciples did the baptizing -it is kind of obscure as written in KJV

It would make sense to me that the disciples did the water baptizing, as Jesus would later baptize in the Holy Ghost

This “doctrine of baptisms” was part of some basic principles of Christ that the writer of Hebrews wanted to go past and talk about deeper things.

I don’t think we should tear each other apart about baptism

I personally was baptized as an infant (so they tell me) and after I was saved at 19, I chose to be immersed

What specifically was my inference?
Your allusion to the different parts of the OT temple juxtaposed with, in your words..."and typify us the human being in the New Testament."
What difference does it make of which part of the temple we are?
We are the temple.

It wasn't sinless.

I don't know what version of the bible you are citing, but the word "mortify" in the KJV means "keep dead".
I don't need to keep killing myself, as it was done once already, at my "immersion" into Christ and into His death and burial.

Agreed.

Yes. We are baptized into Christ by the Spirit.

Paul teaches us we must present the members of our body as members of righteousness, thereby no longer presenting our members as slaves to sin. The sin that continues to dwell in our flesh.

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1

We are not to walk according to our flesh. Why?

Why are we to not walk according to our flesh if it is sinless?

Our flesh still contains sin.

Yes, I knew that...Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil...

And He conquered death...so that through Him we can conquer death too by putting off the flesh living in terms of the Spirit.
