I'M OLD!!!

I once read an article by a Christian author (can't remember his name, but he was from Florida and wrote for Charisma magazine), who said that there was a difference between growing older (which we can't avoid) and getting old (which can be avoided). Being older just means having lived more years. Being old is a state of mind.

why that song with its legend was made a theme song for the lone ranger I will never understand.

Probably because it sounds kinda "gallopy" and goes well with a picture of a galloping horse (which is how the TV show always started). Just take a listen, and try not to think of galloping horses.

I don't know about the jeep, but the first two answers are (if I remember correctly) Rin Tin Tin and Mr. Ed.

I remember when I was a kid and televison would sign off at about midnight.Kate Smith would sing and a couple of jets would come on the screen and that would be it.

Some of the footage from 1963 has been studied closely, over and over.
