when the church is called out-----rapture

A couple of verses first .
Matt24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Matt24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Jesus wants us to stay ever vigilant in our watch for his return and to be ready.

If a Christian thinks it is not pre-trib they can be as ease and look for signs that we are in tribulation and then they can get ready for the return of Jesus. They can clean-up their act and repent if need be . If it is anything other than pre-trib why does Jesus tell us to be ready ?

This is the reason it is important to know, you should be in all readiness for the return of Jesus at anytime !

Look into what the didache says on the end .
No mention of pre trib ,post trib ,mid trib ,just the man of sin .
That letter and statement predates the Bible formally compiled

Chapter 16. No pre trib etc at all .

The three trib view is not even old as the American colonies .
I wonder if the authors of the Didache considered the Book of Daniel and if they even had access to the Book of Revelation .

They did .

Daniel is in the tanach, the vision of John was only a hundred years before .

It's a simple guide .btw look up baptism .fast before . Both the one who receives and baptizes.

No church I have been to does that .

Literally what is the response to the ac?

Hide? ,preach the gospel and live according to the gospel .satan killed the apostles and we arent better then them or Jesus who died for us.

If they hate the master they will hate his serveants .

jerry63935 stated in his OP that this post is not about one's personal view so to you does it really matter ? please No band wagon jumping promoting and of the 3 views.. a yes or no with a simple explanation .

Why are you arguing in three different postings with him as he never asked for a vote but a yes or no answer if it really matters of those three views and a brief explanation why you think it matters or not.

Yes, do these views matter?
No, these views do not matter.

Explain a simple yes or no. That's all jerry is asking.
You’re beating a dead horse. Next time please check to see if what you ask hasn’t already been done a while ago.

honestly Dorothy nothing you have posted makes any sense ..the question was is it important to be pre trib or mid trip or raptured at the end of the 7 year tribulation .i never realized it would be that difficult.

i know forums like the back of my hand.. simple questions like this are boring . now a post can a woman preach . it will take off like a wild fire in the middle of a drought or do a post on osas it will ignite a fierce fire storm of arguments . the post in not how we believe.. but does it really matter since every thing is in His timing ? that is as simple as i can break it down for you
I know it doesn’t make sense to you. Just avoid my posts in that case. Others find they make a lot of sense.

a explanation is welcome i just dont want a fire storm of the 3 views of the rapture i do think it is important to study and have a view. what i dont think is important is to e pushed on others ( i had to edit that last part did not turn out they i thought it should. not a writer but a speaker
Actually this is a nice post. This is what you probably meant to say but didn’t communicate that inthe OP. Nicely done andI can see your point. Some posters bombard others with pages and pages of scripture extracted from the context really pushing their view.

I saw the OP and let the question marinate in my mind a few days, it seems to work better for me that way . I also saw some answers and what OP was seeking as a result:) .

Hi jerry63935

For me, and you're welcome to consider it a 'personal opinion' or not, I think the Scriptures describe the gathering of the elect sometime after the tribulation has begun. One of my main reasons is that Jesus warns us of it. If it wasn't going to be of any effect to us, then why would Jesus warn us of it and tell us to be watchful for it. He told his disciples that there was coming a time of great tribulation, like as nothing that has ever gone before or ever will be again. I think the reason Jesus warned us of that event is that we will be here to see it and we will live through it. Until God determines that enough is enough and sends Jesus to claim those who are his from the world as God then steps in with His wrathful vengeance upon the unbelievers that will then be left behind after Jesus takes his away.

Now, I can't say that it will be mid-trip, as in somewhere right in the 'middle' of the time of tribulation, but I'm confident that it won't happen until after the tribulation has begun.

God bless,
Ted

Where in the bible does it talk about the rapture?
If you mean the pretrib rapture it is not taught in the Bible. What is taught can be found in Matthew 24:29-31, 36-39; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and Rev 19:11-21 that all teach that we are caught up to Christ on the last day when He returns.

I’m torn. I lean towards pre tribulation but it’s only the genuinely converted and in Christ believers who get that as best I can tell. 2 women one gone one remains. And…

I’m not gung ho. I do view the news through more of a Christian lens now so when I read that the persecution of Christian’s seems to be intensifying I see that as big clue number 1.

The other thing? Call me crazy but I think a lot of the established church is Antichrist ready as in…

Hate poor people outcasts confused sinners, like to mix and mingle with politicos ,hungry for worldly power…

Frightening.

The dead in Christ shall rise first ,then we that are alive shall be caught up .

Sounds like a ressurection

Jesus only returns once .

since it has went off course from is pre trib mid trib or end of trib Christ takes us out. is it that important every one sees it different. imo i cant see God people being punished with the full 7 years that is just me everyone has the right to see it how they want

Not to sound glib but it’s one of those things….

We’ll just have to wait and see.

Honestly? I think maybe that’s part of it. The anxious hopeful waiting…

And with it the acknowledgment and realization that the whole world and everything and everyone in it awaits Our Redeemer.

Or…something like that. 😀
